Junior Business Developer
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for (Junior) Business Developer to join a growing and innovative organization based in Delft.
Department
The department is accountable for overall sales achievements worldwide, in order to maximize sales growth and optimize profits. The department consists of a Manager Business Development, 2 Junior Business Developers, 5 Business Developers and 2 Senior Business Developers, a Contracting Specialist and a Business Development Support.
Realise sales and margin targets in specified region or market segment to achieve the goals set out in a manner which complies with Ampelmann’s Core Values Technological Excellence, Professional Excellence, Safety and Team Spirit. The volume and diversity of the fleet is growing fast. Therefore, Ampelmann needs to hire an additional Business Developer. As a Business Developer you will report to the Manager Business Development.
•Prepare country sales plan to achieve sales target, in line with the business’s sales plan
•Lead your sales process and take full responsibility of your sales projects and clients
•Break into new markets and reach new clients to increase the sales
•Leading and participating in initiatives for the capture of new business
•Manage your portfolio of accounts and prospective accounts by arranging regular contacts
•Excellent customer service, ensure that all your prospects and existing customers have a high level of satisfaction of your service
•Ensure that new product ideas are quantified and reported to the Innovation department
•Master degree, preferably with a technical background
•Two (+) years of relevant working experience, proven record of successful business development experience within a commercial environment or experience in technical environment and willing to take the step to the commercial world.
•Excellent communication and influencing skills in both Dutch and English, spoken and written
•An assertive and proactive attitude towards achieving targets, objectives and new clients
•Self-motivator towards continuous development and personal improvement
•Willingness to travel (30%) and work in the weekends
•High degree of responsibility in short term and high impact projects
