(Senior) Manager Audit – Banking & Capital Markets: Credit Risk

You will play a crucial role in inspiring the team and delivering excellent results.
- Lead Transition Periods: Play a pivotal role during transition periods for our major banking clients, leveraging your expertise in credit risk to drive successful change and enhance risk management practices.
- Collaborative Service Planning: Develop the service plan for the client in collaboration with Partners, ensuring a keen focus model validation and the testing of expected credit loss models.
- Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify audit attention areas and risks of material misstatements and help developed a detailed audit approach to add value and mitigate the identified risks, particularly within the context of IFRS 9 expected credit loss provisions. .
- Define Control Strategies: Identify the critical controls of the control environment to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the audit process , with a specific emphasis on credit risk controls and expected credit loss models.
- Internal and External Reporting: Be responsible for the required input for internal and external reports for the client, ensuring comprehensive reporting on credit risk exposures.
- Audit Complex Financial Items: Audit complex items in the financial statements related to credit risk to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Financial Statement Review: Review the financial statements to ensure they meet all legal and regulatory requirements, focusing on disclosures related to credit risk and potential impacts.

- Work part-time (32 hours a week) or full-time (40 hours a week).
- Educational Background: A completed college or university degree.
- Professional Certification: Completion of your training to become a Chartered Accountant (RA), or you are in the process of doing so.
- PCAOB Experience: Strongly preferred
- Work Experience: At least 6-8 years of work experience as an accountant, preferably within the Banking and Capital Markets sector, with a specific focus on credit risk auditing.
